In this, Geeta Press established by respectable Sethji is a special project which was established about 100 years ago by the order of God with the aim of saving the Sanatan culture. Presently Geeta Press has also been honored with the Bharat Ratna Award for saving and taking forward the Sanatan culture.
Through Geeta Press, an effort is made to make all the major texts of our Sanatan culture available in different languages at authentic and very cheap prices to almost every corner of India. We have heard from our ancestors that until the press was established, it was very rare to get books like Mahabharata, Geeta, Ramayana, availability of the other texts seemed impossible.
Today Geeta Press is the world’s largest press in publishing religious books. Sethji always used to say that Gita Press belongs to God and that the work of Gita Press should be God’s work. In this sequence, we are expanding this holy work further in our Jodhpur metropolis, with the grace of Lord Shri Narayan Dev and the blessings of saints and great men.
‘Narayan Pustak Bhandar’ was established whose sole objective is to carry forward this book promotion work of Sanatan culture. At present, apart from the main office at Bombay Motors Circle, two branches are also being operated from Railway Station Platform No. 2 and Central Bus Stand Paota.
In this context, A vehicle in the name of Narayan Pustak Bhandar is also being used, which is being sent to wherever religious events are held in Jodhpur and surrounding areas as per the requirement and possibility.
Taking this objective forward, our website has also been created so that our sahitya can move further beyond the Jodhpur metropolis. Through this, we can order it at the cost price and with reasonable courier charges right from home.
